ECOALF was founded in Madrid out of Javier Goyeneche’s dream to create fashion that doesn’t consume new resources from the planet, but instead gives waste a second life. His sneakers embody the “Upcycling the Oceans” project, which recovers tons of plastic from the Mediterranean Sea and transforms it into technical yarns: every step becomes a concrete action for our children’s future, inspired by his son Alfredo, after whom the brand is named.
